The Wessex Intensive Care Society (WICS) was established in 1998. Under the leadership of Dr Max Jonas, It has rapidly developed into an important society for ensuring good clinical intensive care practice, active research and a strong culture of education and training.

WICS is represented by intensivists across the following ICU's
